Watercolour brushes

How can you tell which is a good brush or a bad brush? Any brand recommendations?

You always get what you pay for. The more expensive brushes  hold water better and they also hold their shape better. So, I don't buy the super cheap ones and I can't afford the super very many of the super expensive one. So, I buy the mid priced ones when they are on sale.  I have many different sizes and shaped brushes I am really fond of using angled brushes so I have a lot of them.

Happy creating!
